AlgaTube™ PBR Tubes for Algae Growth -Chromaphorix

The Next Generation of Algae

This photobioreactor (PBR) is raising the industry standard for photosynthetic productivity, and we want to teach students and industry about it. We sell equipment for educational labs and for industrial biotechnology.

Grow Your Photosynthetic Culture ... Faster!

The AlgaTube™️ product line is a new kind of tubing designed specifically for tPBRs. It is proven to boost the photosynthetic productivity of spirulina by 41% compared to standard round tubes. Gal et al. (2023)

This can translate into multi-fold profit improvements for producers growing photosynthetic algae, which helps you to grow your business … faster!

We offer a small version of the product line for education and a large version for industry.

... with the AlgaTube™ Product Line

The corrugated wall shape of the AlgaTube™️ increases the photon surface area (PSA) by more than 2x relative to a comparable, cylindrical tube. This improves both the photon distribution and the photosynthetic productivity of a tubular photobioreactor. It also reduces water usage. The AlgaTube™️ is made of clear virgin acrylic. Fittings are custom made to fit precisely with the special shape of the AlgaTube™️, and they are welded together by an experienced manufacturing team for strong and leak-free bonding.
